The cargo of 1.5 million doses of vaccines against COVID-19 from Beijing is placed in one of the warehouses of the branches of Beltamozhservice RUE – the transport and logistics center (TLC) Minsk-Beltamozhservice-2, which has GDP status. The vaccine placed in 29 pallets is stored in a separate refrigerator with a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. The cargo included 500 thousand doses, which the Chinese side provided to Belarus as a friendly humanitarian aid, as well as 1 million doses delivered as a part of the purchase.

The GDP status is held by logistics companies whose warehouses comply with international rules and requirements for the distribution of pharmaceutical products.

The production of vaccines will increase rapidly, and as a result, the transportation of the vaccine becomes an urgent task around the world.

The difficulty of this task is not only that the volume of transportation is large, but also that some vaccines require careful compliance with the temperature regime during transportation and storage, namely, being in special conditions – at low and even ultra-low temperatures.

Beltamozhservice RUE has all the necessary conditions to comply with these requirements. The company, as the leading logistics operator of Belarus, was one of the first in Belarus to receive confirmation of compliance of its warehouse complexes with high international GDP standards and is ready to provide services for the storage and processing of medicines, including those requiring certain temperature conditions.

Thus, TLC Minsk-Beltamozhservice-2 of Beltamozhservice RUE, the first holder of international GDP standards from all TLC companies, includes refrigerating chambers with a total area of 180 m2 with a maintained temperature regime +2 - +8, the possibility of floor and shelving storage of over 600 m2. The total area of warehouses of TLC Minsk-Beltamozhservice-2 is about 19,000 m2.

It is planned to obtain a similar conclusion on the assessment of warehouse space at TLC Mogilev – Beltamozhservice, TLC Brest-Beltamozhservice-2 and TLC Gomel-Beltamozhservice.
