On November 15, 2022 investment forum "Belarus - Chongqing" took place.

The Forum was attended from the Belarusian side by Yuriy Senko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China, Denis Kurlenko, Deputy Chairman of Minsk Region Executive Committee, Dmitry Yemelyanov, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Chongqing, and Sergey Nabeshko, General Director of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and from the Chinese side by Xie Xiaoyong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Mo Gongming, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of Chongqing, Luo Gaoyan, Deputy Chairman of Wanzhou District of Chongqing, Tang Mi, First Deputy Chairman of Yubei District of Chongqing, Jiang Lan, Director of the Administration of Urban Development and Construction Lingkong Yubei District Chongqing.

The purpose of the event was to demonstrate the investment potential of Minsk region, the city of Chongqing, as well as to attract Chinese investments.

During the forum, the representatives of the two countries familiarized the participants with the possibilities of business and investment cooperation between the regions, the conditions for doing business and investing in Belarus

After the presentation of the Minsk region, the services of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry were presented. Sergey Nabeshko, General Director noted in his speech that “over the 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations, we have witnessed great achievements in the economic and social development of our countries, as well as stable development of relations between Belarus and China. Not only good partnership relations have been developed between our countries, but we have become good friends.”

Belarusian companies also made their presentations.
