Business events with the participation of businessmen from belarus and Bashkortostan, on December 7, 2021


On December 7-9, within the framework of the official visit of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov to the Republic of Belarus, the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized several events with the participation of the representatives of companies and organizations of Belarus and Bashkortostan (the Russian Federation).


On December 7, a presentation of the investment and economic potential of the Republic of Bashkortostan for representatives of Belarusian business took place. The event was attended by the head of the Bashkortostan delegation Radii Khabirov, the Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, the General Director of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI Sergei Nabeshko, as well as more than 300 representatives of Belarusian and Russian enterprises of the chemical, machine-building industries, agriculture, light industry and other spheres.


Opening the presentation, the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations, increasing trade, the similarity of the economies of Belarus and Bashkortostan, and also thanked the Chairman of the Belneftekhim concern Andrei Rybakov and the head of the department of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation in Ufa Artur Karpovich for their great contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation, having presented them with the Orders of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan.


The peculiarities of doing business in Bashkortostan, promising partnership projects and possible directions for expanding business ties were presented to the attention of Belarusian entrepreneurs.


Representatives of the Belarusian and Bashkir businesses held talks on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. More than 200 bilateral meetings took place.


In addition, within the framework of the visit, members of the Russian delegation visited 13 Belarusian enterprises, got acquainted with the advantages, preferential conditions, tax preferences for residents of the Great Stone Industrial Park, the Minsk FEZ and the Minsk City Technopark.


Following the visit, bilateral documents were signed aimed at solving the priority tasks of trade and economic cooperation and socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
