Trade and economic mission of business circles of Kazakhstan to Belarus, March 2, 2020


On March 2, 2020, the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and industry in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan organized the opening of the trade and economic mission of business circles of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Belarus.


The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus Askar Beisenbayev, Vice-Minister of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Ayan Erenov, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich. The meeting was moderated by Alexander Fedorchuk, Director General of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and industry.


During the event, the prospects of Belarusian-Kazakh trade and economic cooperation and possible joint projects were discussed. The contract was signed between Aktobe rail-and-beam plant LLP and MT-TransKomplekt LLC, as well as a Memorandum between Kentau transformer plant JSC and Sagrat UE.


About 100 representatives of Belarusian and Kazakh enterprises and organizations had the opportunity to discuss topical issues of trade and economic cooperation, hold talks in the fields of medicine, space research, production of lubricants, energy-saving equipment, transformers and other electrical equipment, led and lighting products, office equipment and others.
