Belarussian-Czech business forum and contact-cooperative exchange on May 22, 2018


On May 22, 2018, within the framework of the official visit of the Czech delegation to the Republic of Belarus, the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Czech Republic for the CIS countries, held a Belarusian-Czech business forum and B2B negotiations with representatives of enterprises of the Czech Republic.


The event was opened by Sergey Nabeshko, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


The welcoming speeches were made by:

Evgeniy Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, co-chairman of the Belarusian-Czech Joint Commission;

Eduard Murzhitski, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, co-chairman of the Belarusian-Czech Joint Commission for Economic, Industrial and Scientific and Technical Cooperation;

Sergei Rakhmanov, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs and National Security;

Frantishek Masopust, Chairman of the Board of the CCI for CIS countries.


The opening of the business forum was attended by Valery Kurdyukov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Czech Republic, and Milan Eckert, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Belarus.

More than 50 Belarusian enterprises took part in the contact-cooperation exchange with 10 Czech entrepreneurs.


The negotiations were held in the following areas: construction in industry, energy; production of telecommunications and information technology and automation, intended for rail and road transport; integrated financial services related to foreign trade and investment; production and sale of natural gas pressure regulators and gas control cabinet points for gas supply systems; finance, insurance, legal services, recruitment services for work in the Czech Republic.


The parties discussed possible prospects for cooperation, exchanged proposals on potential cooperation, discussed joint projects.
