ON NOVEMBER 12, 2014 AT THE BELARUSIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY A BUSINESS MEETING WITH BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES OF NORTH KAZAKHSTAN REGION TOOK PLACE


On November 12, 2014 the Belarusian and Kazakh business meeting, organized by the Minsk Department of Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Mass Media Group (Kazakhstan) took place. The delegation was led by Arsen Nasyrhanov, the representative of akimat of North Kazakhstan region.


The Kazakh delegation included representatives of companies from the following areas: milk processing; production of sausages, vegetable oil and mustard powder; production of semi-finished food, construction materials production.


During operation of the business meeting A.Nasyrhanov made a presentation on the investment and economic potential of the North Kazakhstan region. In his turn, T.Mantsevich, the representative of Economy Committee of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, made a presentation on the topic of economic and investment potential of Minsk. D.Zikratsky, the Lawyer of Peterka & Partners LLC made a presentation on the topic ‘Basic features of doing business in the Republic of Belarus’.


15 companies from Belarus participated in a business meeting between Kazakh and Belarusian enterprises: Bobruisk meat processing plant JSC, Minsk group of the bread products JSC, Dorelektromash LLC, Zapagromash LLC and others.


During business negotiations Belarusian and Kazakh parties discussed bilateral cooperation in agriculture, production of semi-finished products, flour confectionery products, industrial machinery. The Kazakh party expressed its interest in cooperation with Belarusian enterprises in the supply of vacuum food packaging, assembling of Belarusian agricultural machinery in North Kazakhstan region, acquiring raw materials in Belarus for the production of meat canning products, creation of joint ventures for the production of wooden windows.


Parties noted that the meeting contributed to the dynamic bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Belarusian and Kazakh entrepreneurs.
