On May 12-16, 2014, the visit of the Belarusian businessmen to Tajikistan took place


 

From May 12 to May 16, 2014 the Belarusian businessmen visited Tajikistan.

 

The visit of the Belarusian delegation was jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and Minsk department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 

The delegation involved the flagships of the Belarusian automobile industry: MAZ, JSC, Gomselmash, JSC, Mozyr Machine-Building Plant, Plc, as well as the largest enterprises Ludmila Headwear Factory, JSC, Ruzhanskaya furniture factory, UE, Beryozastroymaterialy, JSC and Ksant, JV LLC.

 

The visit included the following events: meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Tajikistan in negotiations with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan O.A. Gavruk; Dushanbe-Minsk Business Forum and business matchmaking session between Belarusian and Tajik business community; meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan; plant trips to Tajam, JSC, Yokut-2000, LLC and representative office of MAZ in Tajikistan; visit to Yavan city, meeting with government officials and business leaders of Yavan district; plant trip to a cement factory and a commercial dairy farm.

 

As a result of the negotiations with the Tajik businessmen the parties reached an agreement for the supply of special equipment based on tractor Belarus in Tajikistan, the supply of headwear for law enforcement agencies of Tajikistan, aluminum sulphate for water purification in Dushanbe and ceramic tile in Hodzhent and Dushanbe. Gomselmash, JSC negotiated the issue of a dealership agreement conclusion.
